Yes. All Home by Choice Caregivers are bonded and insured by the agency.

How do I make changes to my scheduled visits?

A simple phone call from you is all that it takes! We understand that situations can change quickly. We will always be flexible and accommodate your request as quickly as possible.

How can I be sure that my caregiver arrives as scheduled?

Home by Choice has built it’s reputation on affordable and dependable quality care. We utilize a state-of-the-art system that provides us with real-time information on every caregiver’s arrival and departure.

There are also trained back ups in place that will be familiar with our clients and their needs.

How do you select your Caregivers?

We personally meet with each of our clients and work hard to match the right person to meet their individual needs and personality. We are committed to choosing compassionate Caregivers that we would trust to care for our own family and loved ones. We only employ qualified, reliable, and kind Caregivers who genuinely enjoy helping others. We place great value on honesty and strong personal character.

What is the screening process for Caregivers?

Each potential Caregiver must pass a criminal background check and our personal screening process before we even consider them as a candidate. After an initial interview with our recruiter they are required to pass a drug screen and TB test as well as DMV check. They are also required to complete a detailed orientation on our company policies as well as extensive training in areas such as dementia care and fall prevention.

How does my service begin?

We begin by scheduling a free in-home consultation to develop a plan of care. Next, we carefully select a caregiver that will be uniquely qualified to help meet your specific needs. We then work out your schedule preferences and schedule the service times (appointments), it’s that simple! In most cases all this can happen within 24 hours!

What services do you offer?

Our services are designed to assist our clients with everyday tasks and are custom tailored to meet their individual needs. Services can include; assistance with medications, showering, dressing and other activities of daily living. Some of the additional services we can provide include; Light Housekeeping, Laundry/Linens, Meal Preparation, Grocery Shopping, Transportation, Companionship and much more!

Will I have a choice in who comes to my home?

Yes. Our experienced staffing scheduler will make an informed decision regarding Caregivers who have the personality, skills and availability to best help you. If at any time or for any reason you are not completely satisfied with a Caregiver we will gladly make the necessary changes.

What is the minimum number of hours of service?

We can start with as little as two hours a day all the way up to 24 hours a day.
